Lake Tahoe Farmer's Markets
There are many things that make Lake Tahoe a great place to enjoy summer activities. Visitors can enjoy the health benefits of the many recreational opportunities that abound in the Lake Tahoe basin. This includes endless hiking trails, paddle boarding and other water sports on beautiful Lake Tahoe.
The close proximity to many large farming communities in the Sierra Foothills means that organic and healthy food is also delivered to local stores and restaurants. During June, many Farmer's Markets open around the lake, and visitors can enjoy an assortment of the area's best artisan foods.
Fresh and Organic Markets
On different days during the week, guests will find an assortment of Farmer’s Markets held in different locations around Lake Tahoe. Choose from organic and homegrown fruits and vegetables, pasture-raised meats, floral bouquets, craft cheeses and locally made condiments.
Many of the Farmer’s Markets also included baked goods, artisan crafts and unique jewelry and gifts. You can find handmade candles and bath products, gluten free products, organic seed oils, and fresh lavender. This is an excellent place to find goods that represent the best of Tahoe’s local artist community.

Online Farmer's Market
For those who won’t have the opportunity to actually shop at one of the Farmer’s Markets, you can also order from the Online Farmer’s Market.
Lake Tahoe Markets will put together a bag bursting with farm fresh organic seasonal vegetables and fruits as available from their partner farmers, along with any add-on products. They offer a variety of sizes from which to choose, as well as the ability to specify a variety of both fruits and vegetables, or only fruits or only vegetables.
Unlike a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) Box in which you pay for a season of produce in advance and receive a delivery of produce each week, regardless of whether you have a need for it that week or not, Lake Tahoe Markets Online Farmers Market allows you to order produce and other amazing products each week as needed.
So long as orders are placed by Friday, your order will be delivered FREE the following Monday (North Shore) or Tuesday (South Shore).
