Diamond Peak offers a dedicated learning area called the Child Ski & Ride Center. They offer lesson packages for all ages and ski aptitudes. Diamond Peak also has season pass prices that present an incredible value, compared to the more expensive ski resorts in the Lake Tahoe area.
A short drive up Mount Rose Highway also brings you to the world class ski area of Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe. Riders can enjoy 1,300 acres of endless ski runs, perfect for all levels. Additionally, the ski area is only 20 minutes from the Reno | Tahoe airport.

With the addition of the gondola that connects these two resorts, skiers can enjoy the charm and wooded terrain of Alpine Meadows, or the world-class runs like KT and Granite Chief at Palisades Tahoe (formerly Squaw Meadows.)
Cross-Country Skiing
If you are looking for excellent cross-country skiing, the 5 km system at Spooner Lake offers meandering trails that wind through a dense forest. The course extends across an open meadow and follows the banks of Spooner Lake. Spooner Lake is located about 20 miles from Incline Village on the east shore of Lake Tahoe.
