Go up Packer Saddle Road until you reach Packer Lake. Across Packer Saddle Road (opposite side, away from lake), is Tamarack Lakes Road. Hike or drive up this road until you see a gate on the left. Walk up this road past Dugan Pond. At the far end of Dugan Pond (away from cabin), cross outlet stream and follow this trail. It becomes a well established trail that heads up to Saxonia Lake. Once the lake is in sight it becomes a boulder hop. No established driving road. Snowmobiles in winter only. Pristine land - County says no building restrictions other than physical access.
